Last Light Band
Dan Cowart, his wife Tonya, and Scott McLeod formed the Last Light Band in 1981, following several years of performing individually as singers and musicians in the nightclub circuit. In 1984, however, the band stopped playing to spend time insuring their personal lives were in order. Six years later, the band rejoined to record their first album Troubled Times. The album displays the group's heart for those who are hurting and in need of help. The songs on the album were written out of reflections of experiences that the group had gone through.
Since 1981, the group has worked on every end of the inspirational music spectrum. From worship to missions, large to small concerts, they have always provided a wholesome message combined with a love of performance.
In recent years the band has added several members. Chris Nomand contributes keyboard and vocals, Doug Doss on bass, and Reese McGahagin on Drums.
